Dr. Irene Pepperbertg Visits Our Sister Club!



Our sister club on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, held a lecture and cocktail party featuring Dr. Irene Pepperberg on December 5, 2008. The event was held in the Neil Blaisdell Arena's "Hawaii Suites" and featured Dr. Pepperberg speaking all about the late "Alex" and his ability of cognitive behavior. To make the event even more special, Dr. Pepperberg invited all of the islands African Greys to the lecture as well. Congratulations go out to the Aloha Parrot Association on a job well done. It took months of planning and fundraising to make this event possible and they succeeded.

Dedicated to teaching the care, sharing the knowledge, and telling of the love and joy of pet birds.
